At 12 noon we stop at the Mombo Restaurant for lunch (well-prepared typical street food). Then we drive up to the mountains to Lushoto town where we will first check in at a lodge. Then we will have a little break before we will hike to the waterfalls and the Irente lookout point. Up there you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. After this beautiful experience we go back to our lodge where we will spend the night and end the day with a delicious dinner.
DAY 2

After lunch we will be picked up by the jeep and drive through the beautiful green landscape to the Magumba Hill Lodge, where we will register and rest until later. You can take a short sunset walk at Mambo View and then back to the lodge for dinner and evening rest.
DAY 3
Today we get up very early in the morning at 6 a.m., if you want you can see the sunrise from the lodge, because most of the time you have a clear view of the Kilimanjaro mountain (we will inform you about the exact sunrise time) Breakfast is ready at 7 a.m. and we will hike strengthened to a local woman. There we learn how to make a typical African saucepan. If you feel that you have enough energy, we can hike an additional 5 hours through the beautiful nature (lunch box included). The park is located between the Kilimanjaro and Tanga regions. It is also the border with Tsavo National Park in Kenya. The park is rich in mammal species including the Big 5 and over 450 species of birds.
This park is one of the richest savannas in Africa and possibly in the world in terms of the number of rare and endemic fauna and flora evidenced by the presence of wild dogs and black rhinos.

Here you have the opportunity to swim in a small natural pool in front of the waterfall. With a bit of luck you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro while you take a refreshing swim (please remember to bring your swimwear).
The particularly impressive thing about this waterfall is the beautiful rainbow that forms near the bottom through the spray. A special kind of natural phenomenon. Enjoy your packed lunch before or after bathing. After you have enjoyed nature sufficiently, we slowly return to the village. If you want, you can try a local banana beer. The next highlight is the coffee plantation. In the middle of the beautiful rainforest landscape, you will learn how coffee is grown, dried, roasted and processed.
